What to Wear for Food Tour Experiences

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled comfortable walking shoes and layers are recommended for this culinary adventure. Flip-flops, high heels and dress-shoes are not recommended. Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and cool lightweight clothing are recommended during the hot summer months and will make your experience much more enjoyable.

What To Know Before You Go

Tours include 1 to 1½ miles of walking. There are typically nine stops for tastings and enough food is offered that, for most, a meal afterwards is not needed. Water is served along the way, however it is suggested that participants bring their own reusable water bottles. Coffee or tea is served at the first stop, and three subsequent tastings include a traditional beverage.

Children under the age of 5 not participating in tastings do not need a ticket. Tours are stroller and Wheelchair accessible. Pets are not allowed on the tour.

With advance notice to the tour operator, substitutions for dietary restrictions can generally be accommodated.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.
