St. Croix Dinner Cruise

My husband and I had a great time on our dinner cruise this weekend! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was nice, and the beef for dinner was especially delicious. Since we were seated at a table with other people we were apprehensive but walked away with new friends! I would recommend going on your cruise prior to October though as it gets dark just after the cruise starts so if you're hoping to see scenery it's not ideal at this time of year.

I was treated by my son and family to a dinner cruise for my birthday while on a visit from England. It was a delightful experience all round. The crew were exceptionally helpful and very child friendly to a lively 18 month old, weather was fine and fod nicley cooked and plentiful. I recommend it.

The buffet dinner was delicious, and the service by the entire crew was superb from the moment we were greeted until the time we disembarked. The full moon rising over the river was a bonus I am sure they arranged just for us!

Question: Can I place the tip on the order? Since I am giving this as a gift, I would like to include the tip.

Answer: Price includes tax but not gratuity. Unfortunately we are unable to include gratuity in the amount of the certificate for this activity. Gratuity can only be extended to the server once on board the dinner cruise.
Question: What is the route of this dinner cruise? I am looking for a book to go with this gift which would highlight what we will be seeing.

Answer: Departing from either Afton, Minnesota or Hudson, Wisconsin depending upon the date reserved, this Dinner Cruise takes place on the St Croix River between Minnesota and Wisconsin and offers spectacular views of the cliffs that line the St Croix.
Question: I was wondering if the drinks are free on the St. Croix Dinner Cruise, or if they are for purchase at the bar?

Answer: Coffee, tea and water are complimentary. Passengers may also purchase mixed drinks, juices, soft drinks, and cocktails on the boat at the Cash Bar.
Question: I would like to reserve this cruise as a gift for my husband. Can you do something special since we will be celebrating his birthday? Would I be able to bring my own cake?

Answer: Unfortunately no outside food or beverages can be brought on the ship. We suggest informing your server that you are celebrating a special occasion and they will let you know the options for enhancing the evening.
Question: I would like to purchase this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and her husband. They have a 6 month old daughter, are they able to bring her along on the cruise?

Answer: Yes, children are welcome on-board the dinner cruise. There are specific rates for children 10 and under as well as those 2 and under. Children may be added when requesting a reservation.
Question: Is the ship wheelchair accessible?

Answer: It is not guaranteed. The cruise uses different ships at different times of the year. All of the ships have wheelchair boarding access but only one has a wheelchair accessible restroom.
