The Biltmore Estate Land Rover Lesson is offered on seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Lessons can be scheduled from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

How Long Is The Off-Road Driving at Biltmore Estate

The Off-Road Driving at Biltmore Estate includes a 1 hour lesson with a total duration of approximately 1½ hours, unless and extended option is selected.

Does Weather Impact Off Road Driving Experiences

The Biltmore Estate Off-Road Adventure may be rescheduled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to Wear for Off Road Driving Experiences

Dress comfortably, flat, rubber-soled shoes, are recommended for this off-roading adventure.

What To Know Before You Go

Participants must be over the age of 21 and have a Valid Driver's License. Minimum age for passengers is 8 years old.

An instructor accompanies each and every vehicle and will sit in the front of the vehicle. They will sit in the driver's seat when demonstrating and the passenger front seat when instructing.

This experience also includes a tour of the Biltmore Estate, Gardens and Winery. If you elect to bring guests, they will need to pay the admission fee to the Estate upon arrival.

The Full Day Adventure option includes lunch.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

One of the Best Times I Have Ever Had...

My husband bought me the Off Road Driving Lesson as one of my Valentine's Gifts and it was absolutely Phenomenal...!!! I had an Absolute Blast and my instructor was patient, kind, polite and taught me a lot about off road driving...!!! Answer: This is a one hour lesson, unless and extended option is selected. Your qualified instructor will sit in the passenger seat for the majority of the time and occasionally take over in order to demonstrate some maneuvers.
