Once ready, you and the Instructor will be aerotowed by a single engine light aircraft into the thermals. After release from tow, your instructor will demonstrate basic flying techniques, then give you the opportunity to take the controls yourself and taste the very personal freedom of flight!
Take in the stunning sights of Lake Pleasant, gold mines, old wagon trails, Black Canyon, New River Mesas and more during your flight and enjoy the amazing sensation of gliding. After landing, your pilot will enter your flight in an official pilot's logbook which you may keep either as a souvenir of a once-in-a-lifetime experience or as the beginning of your glider pilot training.
