Enjoy a Relaxing Self-Guided Kayaking Trip For Two on the Beautiful Shenandoah & Potomac Rivers
Travel through the heart of the Appalachians on this Harpers Ferry kayaking adventure for two an experience the magic and beauty this region has to offer. You will explore the ancient Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers in a touring or sit-on-top kayak, these lightweight, quiet crafts are ideal vessels for discovering the abundant wildlife that flourishes in these amazing ecosystems. Paddlers often see swimming Turtles, cavity-nesting Wood Ducks, elegant Egrets, Belted Kingfishers, fishing Osprey, and stately Great Blue Herons. You will be supplied with your kayak, the shuttle to and from the river, a map, and other necessary equipment, but the guiding is up to you!

WHEN
The Harpers Ferry Kayaking Adventure Experience is offered seven days a week March thru November, subject to availability. Trips depart at 3:30 PM daily and at 6:00 PM Friday and Saturday evenings from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. |

DURATION
The Harpers Ferry Kayaking Adventure Experience is 1½ hours with a total experience time of approximately 2½ hours, unless an Alternative Kayaking Adventure Option is selected. |

GUESTS
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests. |

 |
WEATHER
The Harpers Ferry Kayaking Adventure Experience may be cancelled due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather. |

WHAT TO WEAR
Dress comfortably, and bring a change of clothing. Recommended items include a swimsuit, shorts, t-shirt, sunglasses or hat and sunscreen. |

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All trips, except the whitewater adventure, are self guided and include all kayaking gear and lift jackets. Participants must be a minimum of 12 years old, participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.
Price includes all tax and user fees. |

CANCELLATION POLICY
All changes to reservations for the Harpers Ferry Kayaking Adventure Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.
Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made. |
