The Helicopter Tour in Orange County Experience may be rescheduled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

Dress Comfortably. Flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

What To Know Before You Go

All participants must have a valid photo ID (passport or driving license). The maximum weight for participants may not exceed 220 lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation. Passengers must be a minimum of 4 years old.

Helicoptor Ride

Both my wife and I enjoyed the ride immensely! The pilot facilitated our understanding of the safety and basics of the four-seater, comfortable helicopter and piloted a very smooth ride over OC for us. He interjected interesting facts about the area and was very personable in answering our questions and fielding out comments. I recommend this ride to anyone but especially folks who are familiar with the area but want a very different perspective on already familiar spots. Viewing it from the air was spectacular!

Helicopter Ride

The helicopter ride was GRRREAT! What a way to celebrate an anniversary flying over the city where we spent our 50 years of marriage and where are kids were born and raised. The pilot was very knowledgeable about the helicopter as well as points of interest in the beautiful land & seascape below. The day could have been a little clearer, but, hey, it was still wonderful. Worth every penny.

Great Time! t

My boyfriend got this for me as a birthday present because I absolutely LOVE sunsets and being at up in the air at a low altitude. We had such a great time! Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable, and even offered to let one of us sit up front with him and fly the plane for a bit! The day we went turned out to be totally overcast, so we unfortunately didn't get any sunset views (it would be nice if you didn't have to book so far in advance it doesn't allow you to anticipate the weather at all) but flying all over LA at that height and seeing the night lights was a very memorable experience.

It was a good ride and my girlfriend loved the birthday surprise. I felt that because it was partly cloudy that day we couldn't see all that we wanted to though. However, overall the experience was fun. Kind of quiet but that's because my girlfriend is kind of shy. So if you're a talker that's good. Besides that i didn't like to wear the earphones because they kind of hurt and i did feel like the ride was short, but i guess time flies when you're having fun. :)

Questions about Private OC Heli Tour

Question: I was going to purchase the Helicopter tour in the OC for my brother for his birthday. He's 230lbs, just over the weight limit. How strict are they?

Answer: They are very strict. The weight limits are set by the FAA based on the helicopter and they are set in place for safety reasons. The Pilot will weigh participants if he believes them to be over the limit.
Question: I am interested in surprising my wife with this tour. Is that a set route or can we ask the pilot to go North instead of staying in the North Beach Area?

Answer: This tours have a set route to Newport Beach and back. There are upgrade tour options that may be added prior to checkout.
15 Minute Newport Beach Tour This twenty mile tour heads north along the Newport Beach coastline to the mouth of the Santa Ana river and back
20 Minute Surf City or Laguna Beach Tour The Surf City Tour will fly you north along Newport Beach and up to Huntington Beach. The Laguna Beach Tour will fly you south along Laguna Beach coastline down to Monarch Beach.
25 Minute OC Beaches Tour This fourty mile tour heads south along the Laguna Beach coastline down to Dana Point and back.
