Does Weather Impact Hot Air Balloon Rides

The Cincinnati Public Hot Air Balloon Rides depend on favorable weather, and can only fly when the conditions are safe. Flights may be rescheduled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to Wear for Hot Air Balloon Rides

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open air adventure. Open-toe shoes, high heels, shorts and bags are not permitted.

What To Know Before You Go

Participation in the Private Hot Air Balloon Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 240lbs and who are at least 4' tall and less than 6'5" tall. Participants must be able to stand for a minimum of 90 minutes, should be at least 8 years of age.

Each participant will receive a complimentary bottle of water. Following the flight participants will enjoy a champagne toast with a souvenir champagne flutes. Non-alcoholic champagne is available with advance notice.

All Pilots are FAA-commercially licensed with a perfect safety record and follow the FAA guidelines & regulations. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight.
