Does Weather Impact Outdoor Activity Gifts

The Dog Sledding Tours in Massachusetts take place in most weather conditions, but may be rescheduled by the Guide due to lack of snow or other poor weather conditions.

What to Wear for Outdoor Activity Gifts

Dress comfortably in warm, waterproof layers. Snow jackets, pants, hats, gloves and boots are recommended. Water or a hot beverage in a thermos is recommended as well.

What To Know Before You Go

Along with a 20 to 30 minute Dog Sled Ride, this adventure includes meeting the dogs, petting, snacking, helping harness and/or lining up and releasing the dogs.

The maximum combined weight for all participants must be less than 350 lbs. Participants can use the warming hut equipped with materials to build a fire. There is a port a potty at the meeting location. Participants should bring a bottle of water or hot thermos drink for the tour.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.
