You will be fitted with all of the proper equipment and receive a quick introduction to proper kayaking strokes from your guide. Once ready, you will launch your double kayak and begin paddling along the Cambridge shoreline. The Kayaking Excursions have a tour length of 1½ hours and a total duration of approximately 1¾ hours, unless an Extended Tour is selected.

Does Weather Impact Kayaking Experiences

The Boston Kayaking Tours may be rescheduled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to Wear for Kayaking Experiences

Dress comfortably, flat, rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this outdoor adventure.

What To Know Before You Go

Both participants will be in the same kayak. Participants should be able to swim and must wear life jackets at all times during the tour.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate.

Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following the trip.

Kayaking Tour

My sister and I paid to go on the Boston BBQ Kayaking Tour, we went to the address that was provided to us, which is the same address that was given to me when I called on my way there. We ended up at the Sunset Kayaking Tour instead. They fit us into the tour since we were not able to make it across town to the right site. We did enjoy this tour, we were more looking forward to the BBQ tour but made the best of it. The Kayaking company has mailed me a gift certificate for the right tour at a future date.
