After youmeet with your guide and the rest of the group, you will head out to the Lake and paddle between Saxon Harbor and Little Girl’s Point. Less than a mile from the harbor, you will then approach the mouth of the Montreal River where a magnificent waterfall awaits. In the afternoon, you will enjoy lunch on a gravel bar just below the falls.

You and your guest may also enjoy a swim, take pictures of the amazing scenery or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.This kayak trip is the perfect way to enjoy the unique beauty that Upper Peninsula of Michigan has to offer.

How Long Is The Kayaking on Lake Superior

The Kayaking Adventure on Lake Superior has a length of approximately 6 hours and a total duration of 6½ hours.

Does Weather Impact Kayaking Experiences

The Waterfall Lake Superior Kayak Trip may be rescheduled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to Wear for Kayaking Experiences

Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes, layers, hats, sunglasses, swimsuits and sun protection are recommended for this kayaking adventure. Cotton clothing and flip flops are not recommended.

What To Know Before You Go

Kayak tours and trips on Lake Superior are designed to accommodate beginners as well as experienced kayakers. Participants must be atleast 8 years old. Children age 10 and up have the option to go in a single kayak, but they will have to paddle the entire length of the tour. Appropriate PFDs are available for all age levels.

A picnic lunch is provided. Participants should bring a reusable bottle of water.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Question: I'd like to purchase this Experience as a gift for a couple that have never been kayaking before. Will they be able to take the tour?

Answer: Absolutely. The tour is run with the guide under the assumption that every participant is a beginner.
Question: Do they offer tandem kayaks on the tour?

Answer: Adults will be in single kayaks only.
Question: My husband and I were given this as a wedding gift. Is lunch included or will we need to bring our own?
