So strap in and get ready for the Professional Driver to put the pedal to the metal! When the thumb up is given to the Driver, they will start the V8 engine and pull out of pit lane and onto the track for 3 heart-pounding laps! Tracks include Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway and Homestead Miami Speedway and are oval tracks that are at least two miles in length.

How Long Is The Super Speedway Racecar Ride Along

The Racecar Ride Along includes 3 Laps as a passenger, unless an upgrade option is selected, and has a total duration of approximately 1 hour (unless an upgrade option is selected).

Does Weather Impact NASCAR Driving Experiences

The Super Speedway Ride may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to heavy rain or other inclement weather. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable, but can be used at any location nationwide.

What to Wear for NASCAR Driving Experiences

Dress comfortably, a driving suit, helmet and HANS device (head restraint) will be provided. Please wear a T-shirt that will fit under the driving suit and socks that cover your ankles. Boots and open toed shoes are not permitted. Please refrain from using any hair sprays or gels.

What To Know Before You Go

Participation in the Ride Along Experience is limited to individuals less than 6'4" tall, weighing less than 270lbs and who have a waist and chest circumference less than 52" around. Participants must be at least 5' tall, 100lbs and 14 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Participants must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that sits 35” from the ground.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe in racing conditions are not eligible to participate.

All Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Reservation And Cancelation Policy

All changes to reservations for the Super Speedway Racecar Ride Along Experience require thirty-five (35) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

No changes can be made to reservations within 35 days of the scheduled reservation. Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. The registration Team was very friendly and courteous. The entire driving Team was phenonminal. I requested a certain driver and was granted my request. This was an incredible experience. I would recommend it to anyone, and of course to the avid NASCAR fan! I believe I got the better end of the deal being the passenger because I don't think I would have pushed the car as much as the driver did if I had driven the car myself! If I could go tomorrow I wouldn't turn the experience down.

Disorganized

The ride was fun and the staff was very nice. But terribly organized.I had an appointment but the ride was 'first come, first served'. Very disorganized keeping track of who goes next and it was not until I noticed a few people who arrived after being called for their turn that I complained so that I could be put in the queue for my turn.

So much fun!!

I bought this for my husband and myself for our anniversary, and it was more fun than I could have imagined! The experience itself was wonderful, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Finding where to go was a little confusing, no signs really and the racing school had two different names, which was confusing. Overall it was a really fun experience, highly recommend!!

Questions about Super Speedway Ride Along

Question: I noticed there you have several different Ride along Xperiences offered on your site. What is the difference between Short Track, Bull Ring, Speedway and Superspeedway?

Answer: These are track size categories. Bull Ring tracks are oval tracks that are 3/8ths of a Mile or less. Short Tracks are oval tracks that are 3/8 of a mile to 1 mile around. Speedways are oval tracks that are one to two miles around. Super Speedways are oval tracks that are two miles in length or more.
Question: I purchased this gift for my husband, a longtime NASCAR fan. I would like to bring the whole family to watch him race. I have two young kids and would like to know if concessions will be available or if I need to bring snacks along for my children.

Answer: As this is a private event hosted by the driving school, the concession stands will not be open. You may bring outside food and beverages along with you.
Question: I would like to surprise my Grandson with a NASCAR gift for his 13th birthday. Are there age limits for the ride along?

Answer: Participants must be at least 5' tall, 100lbs and 14 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This would be a great gift for his 14th birthday!
Question: I’m interested in gifting the ride along experience to my boyfriend for our anniversary. Will I be able to sit in the back seat during the ride along?

Answer: This experience is valid for one individual to ride in the Stock car during the ride along. These are real race cars that are driven by professional NASCAR drivers, and the cars do not have back seats.
Question: I would like to purchase this gift for my father, who does not have a very flexible schedule. What happens if it rains on the day of his race and the experience is cancelled?

Answer: Safety is of utmost importance on the track. If the Ride Along experience is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation.
