The Paddle Boarding Lessons may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to poor weather conditions.

What to Wear for Surf Lesson Experiences

Dress comfortably in swimwear. Sun glasses and sunscreen as well as a change of clothing are all recommended.

What To Know Before You Go

Price includes tax and use of all equipment during the lesson.

Participants must be at least 10 years of age and be able to swim. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Questions about Jacksonville SUP

Question: My sister and I received this SUP Lesson as a Christmas gift. What should we wear during the lesson?

Answer: Even though you most likely won't get into the water, we recommend that you dress comfortably in swimwear. You may wear a t-shirt or shorts on top of your bathing suite if you wish. Sun glasses (with a strap) and sunscreen as well as a change of clothing (just in case) are all recommended. Hats or visors are also recommended.
Question: I would like to buy this as a gift for my granddaughter who would like to learn how to paddleboard. Is there an age requirement? What do participants get to see on the tour?

Answer: Participants in the Jacksonville SUP Lesson must be at least 10 years of age and be able to swim. While paddling on the Creek participants might encounter turtles, manatees and see wading birds as well as Bald Eagles and Ospreys.
