The Boston Pizza Tours are offered up to seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 AM, January to May. Seven days a week May thru September. Thursday-Monday, October thru December. Tours typically begin at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM

The Pizza Tours of Boston have a tour length of 2½ hours and a total duration of approximately 2¾ hours.

Does Weather Impact Food Tour Experiences

The Boston Food Tours take place in all weather conditions.

What to Wear for Food Tour Experiences

Dress comfortably in Layers. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes and a small bottle of water is recommended for this culinary adventure. If touring in summer it is recommended to wear sunscreen and bring sunglasses. If touring in the winter gloves and a scarf are recommended. You may also consider bringing an umbrella for those rainy days.

What To Know Before You Go

Tours include three cheese pizza slices, each from different Boston Pizzerias. Additional toppings may be purchased during the tour. Price includes pizza tastings, however beverages are not included but may be purchased during the tour.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older at all times. Tours include 1 to 1½ miles of walking. Participants may bring a bottle of water or non-alcoholic beverage on the tour.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the experience no substitutions can be made and locations visited on the tour are subject to change.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

You will have the opportunity to purchase additional food and beverages during the tour, therefore participants are urged to bring additional spending money.

Boston Pizza Tasting Tour

While the guide was competent, we visited three restaurants only and received little information about the restaurants, their pizza making techniques, etc. We expected more of a behind the scenes tour and perhaps 1 or two more restaurants. The other aspects of the walking tour, were very familiar to us as Boston residents.

Pizza Tour

We did the pizza tour this past weekend with friends that were visiting from out of town. We all had the best time. Pat was out tour guide, and he did a great job keeping us all focused on every stop we made, so much history in the North End and he is up to speed on all of it ( 5 stars to him alone). I thought the stop at Chocolate House was very interesting. We can't wait to do the Pub tour.
