This Super Car Driving Experience is the Ultimate Porsche Race Car Driving Adventure. During this two-hour, 5 Lap on-track racing experience, you will get behind the wheel and drive a Porsche Cayman GTS, one of the world's fastest supercars, at SpeedVegas Motorsports Park.

Your Porsche Racing Adventure starts at the track where you will receive an overview of the vehicle from your Instructors, instruction on how to drive a Cayman GTS at top speeds, safety information and a review of the track racing line. You will then discover the track as a passenger of our Porsche SUV for a Discovery Lap with on-board instruction. Once the full briefing is complete, it is time to get suited up, put the pedal to the metal and drive a Porsche Cayman GTS for five action packed laps of the track.

You may bring guests with you to the track. Spectators will be able to access the track (within the secured areas) to take videos and pictures. Infants under 24 months and pets are not allowed at the track for safety reasons.

The Porsche Driving is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability.

How Long Is The Porsche Driving Experience

The Porsche Driving Adventure includes a classroom briefing followed by technical instruction, a ride along in a Porsche SUV with an instructor demonstrating racing techniques, and 5 laps around the track with a total duration of approximately 2½ to 3 hours, unless an Additional Lap Option is selected.

Does Weather Impact Race Car Driving Experiences

The Las Vegas Porsche Driving may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather conditions. Cancellations due to weather is rare.

What to Wear for Race Car Driving Experiences

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe, flat rubber soled shoes.

What To Know Before You Go

Participants must be over the age of 18 and have a valid government issued Driver's License. Participants are accompanied by a professional Driving Instructor at all times. All cars are equipped with either Paddle Shifts or Automatic Gearboxes (No Stick Shift).

A Cafe is located on site with burgers, salads, french fries, snacks, fruits, cookies and beverages available for purchase. Alcohol is not permitted at the track.

Insurance is included, however participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form and will receive a certificate of completion after the experience.

All changes to reservations for the Porsche Driving Experience require twenty (20) days advance notice.

Driving experience

* Driving the car was terrific: the instructor was great, the car was great, the course was great.
* The pre-drive instruction was excellent.
* The course tour in the SUV was terrific.
* Well done to everybody in the core and important parts of the event.
* But there is a lot of 'hurry up and wait' and chaos surrounding the event. It was difficult to hear the track people call your name when your turn came for the ride, or when your turn came to drive the car. More shade would have been nice. There were two 'tented' areas from which you could see the vehicles and listen for your name, and they were crowded or you could stand in the hanger and not see th cars or hear your name being called: that wasn't enough.
* But that is minor quibbling: the car part of the event was superb.

Overall had an excellent time. Cab fare was high from my hotel. Maybe a shuttle service that participants could share would be nice. Class size was very large. Smaller groups might be more efficient. Less wait time would be more enjoyable. Enjoyed the experience. Would recommend to others.

Question: Will I actually get to drive the car myself for the stated number of laps , or will I be switching with other participants?

Answer: Yes, participants of the Porsche Driving Experience will drive the vehicle on track for the stated number of laps.
Question: Do I need to have any previous experience to participate?

Answer: No experience is required, however all participants must be over the age of 18 and have a valid Driver's License. All cars are equipped with either Paddle Shifts or Automatic Gearboxes (No Stick Shift). Participants are accompanied by a professional Driving Instructor at all times.
Question: I weigh 230 pounds. Will I have a problem participating in the Porsche event?

Answer: The suggested weight limit for the Porsche Driving Experience is 260lbs. You will not have a problem participating at 230 lbs.
Question: Can I bring friends and family to the racetrack?

Answer: Yes, your friends and family are welcome to attend and will be able to take videos and pictures from a secure viewing areas. Children are welcome, however, for safety reasons we do not recommend children under the age of 2 years old to attend this experience. Pets are not allowed, only service animals are permitted at the facilities.
Question: My brother bought me a race car driving experience in Las Vegas for my birthday. Can I bring my camera to take video inside the car?

Answer: For safety and insurance reasons, outside cameras are not permitted in the vehicle. However they do offer on-board video that you may purchase from the driving school directly.
