The adventure begins when you meet your beer loving Guide who will escort you and the rest of the group on the best bus tour you've ever taken. Over the next four hours, you will sample your way through the City - tasting the best beers brewed in town. Across three different stops, you will taste different beer styles and learn how these craft brews are created. A delicious craft beer pretzel snack, an interactive lesson on beer history and culture as well as behind the scenes brewery tours are also on the menu.

The Beer Tours are offered Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays year-round, subject to availability. Tours typically depart at 5:30 PM on Thursdays and Fridays and at 5:00 PM on Sundays.

How Long Is The Portland Beer Tasting Brewery Tour

The Portland Beer Tastings include three stops and have a tour length of 4 hours and a total duration of approximately 4¼ to 4½ hours.

What to Wear for Beer Tasting Experiences

Dress comfortably. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes with CLOSED TOES are recommended for this brewery adventure.

What To Know Before You Go

Tours include stops at different Portland Breweries and Brewpubs, light appetizers, pilsner glass and pretzel snack. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Photo ID. Participants are urged bring spending money as they will have the opportunity to purchase additional food, beverages, gifts and souvenirs on the tour.

Specific stops on the tour are subject to change. Gluten Free Beer options are not provided on this tour.

Gratuities for your tour guide/driver are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Beer tour and party bus, best of both worlds.

The tour was interesting and included some education about the process of making beer. The atmosphere was one of a party on the bus. So this event would be great for those want to learn and sample. It is also great for those who want to do some afternoon drinking for a wedding party or something.

Question: Is this beer tasting tour handicapped accessible?

Answer: Yes. Be sure to make comments in the notes when requesting a booking for your reservation.
Question: I was thinking of getting experience as a gift for my friend. Will we drink on the bus?

Answer: Yes, but don't offer any to the driver because you'll just make him jealous! You may consume beer on the bus but must finish it before the next stop. You are not permitted to bring an open container through the bus door in either direction.
