When the thumb up is given to the Driver, they will start the V8 engine and pull out of pit lane and onto the track for 3 heart-pounding laps! Tracks include Dover International Speedway, Iowa Speedway, New Hampshier Motor Speedway and Richmond International Raceway and are oval tracks that are one to two miles around.

The Racecar Ride Along at a Speedway Track is offered at specific locations and on specific dates throughout the year, subject to availability.

How Long Is The Speedway Racecar Ride Along

The Racecar Ride Along includes 3 Laps as a passenger, unless an upgrade option is selected, and has a total duration of approximately 1 hour (unless an upgrade option is selected).

Does Weather Impact NASCAR Driving Experiences

The Speedway Ride may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to heavy rain or other inclement weather. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable, but may be used at any track nationwide.

What to Wear for NASCAR Driving Experiences

Dress comfortably, a driving suit, helmet and HANS device (head restraint) will be provided. Please wear a T-shirt that will fit under the driving suit and socks that cover your ankles. Boots and open toed shoes are not permitted. Please refrain from using any hair sprays or gels.

What To Know Before You Go

Participation in the Ride Along Experience is limited to individuals less than 6'4" tall, weighing less than 270lbs and who have a waist and chest circumference less than 52" around. Participants must be at least 5' tall, 100lbs and 14 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Participants must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that sits 35” from the ground.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe in racing conditions are not eligible to participate.

All Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Reservation And Cancelation Policy

All changes to reservations for the Racecar Speedway Ride Along Experience require thirty-five (35) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

No changes can be made to reservations within 35 days of the scheduled reservation. Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

Was a great experience, very nice and helpful. My fiance was 8 months pregnant and they allowed her in picts/ in the van around the track/ and they drove us back to our car to help her. The best!!!!!!! All involved with putting on this program were fantastic!! My family (who purchased this as a 65th birthday present) were all there to enjoy it with me. This will be at the top of my list for a time to remember. I have a profound new respect for the drivers. It is hot, very hot, in those cars and with the temp hitting the upper 90's I got a real sense of what they must endure. All I can add is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

An intense ride along that i'll never forget. Definitely want to do it again, and plan on bringing my friends to do it next year also. Thought it's only 3 laps, all 3 are intense, i can't imagine driving a car like that for over 100 laps. INTENSE!!!

Question: I would like to purchase this gift for my father, who does not have a very flexible schedule. What happens if it rains on the day of his race and the experience is cancelled?

Answer: This experience is valid for one individual to ride in the Stock car during the ride along. These are real race cars that are driven by professional NASCAR drivers, and the cars do not have back seats

Answer: As this is a private event hosted by the driving school, the concession stands will not be open. You may bring outside food and beverages along with you.
Question: I noticed there you have several different Ride along Xperiences offered on your site. What is the difference between Short Track, Bull Ring, Speedway and Superspeedway?

Answer: These are track size categories. Bull Ring tracks are oval tracks that are 3/8ths of a Mile or less. Short Tracks are oval tracks that are 3/8 of a mile to 1 mile around. Speedways are oval tracks that are one to two miles around. Super Speedways are oval tracks that are two miles in length or more.
