Taught by a Certified Instructor with over 20 years of experience in the sport, the fun begins when you meet at the surf shop on Beach Boulevard. Here you will get suited up, review the lesson plan and select your equipment. The lesson itself begins on land in the simulator where you will learn how to maneuver the sail while balancing on the surfboard. After the lesson on land is complete, it’s time to hit the beach. Once in the water, you’ll practice raising the sail, getting on the board and using the power of the wind to move you. Before you know it, you’ll be windsurfing!

What To Know Before You Go

Price includes tax and use of all equipment during the lesson.

Participants must be at least 10 years of age and be able to swim. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

This is the perfect body of water for lessons as it is a large protected bay which typically has good wind from all directions. It is also shallow enough to stand in most areas.
