What to Wear for Dance Lessons

Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in and not too warm. Shoes should be leather or suede soled. Rubber soled and athletic shoes should not be worn.

Your experience will take place with Michele Cloutier, a professional dancer that has participated in regional competitions and shows and and still enjoys performing. Michele has more than thirty years of dance experience and has taught adults and children, private and group dance lessons in Brookline and the greater Boston area since 1993.

Michele was great! Since we didn't have a ton of time and wanted to be prepared for our first dance, she taught us 'made-up steps' that weren't complicated and were easy to remember and practice. Would definitely recommend to those who aren't so sure of themselves on the dance floor (like us).

It was such a great class and it got me and my fiance extremely excited for our first dance. We weren't going to have anything planned and she taught us a few steps and gave us a cute finale to do so now we're excited to be a little more entertaining for our guests. Questions about Boston Dance Lesson

Question: My brother with "two left feet" is getting married this summer and I want to save him some embarrassment. Would this be a good gift for the future bride and groom?

Answer: Absolutely! Not only will they help choreograph a dance, they'll also give the little tips that most people don't think of, like how to enter and exit the dance floor. Be sure to tell him to bring his wedding song on either a CD or an Ipod.
Question: I was thinking of purchasing this for my girlfriend for a unique birthday present, she is so hard to shop for! I have no clue what I am doing when I dance and will certainly feel embarrassed in front of others. Will there be others in the dance class or is this private?

Answer: No worries! This is a private dance lesson for two. You'll have the chance to practice your moves before unveiling them to the public!
Question: I would like to buy this gift for my Wife for our Anniversary. Is there public Parking nearby, and if not will we be able to take the T to the studio?

Answer: There is public parking on both sides of the street. You can park in front of a parking meter, just remember the duration of this experience is 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours so be sure to bring enough change. You may also choose to take the C Green line to the Studio. Your stop will be the Brandon Hall stop which is about 2 or 3 stops past Coolidge Corner. The studio is right across the street.
