What to Wear for Cooking Classes and Lessons

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this culinary adventure. Please do not wear open-toed shoes or nylons.

What To Know Before You Go

Classes are held a several culinary locations in Healdsburg and throughout Sonoma County. You will have the opportunity to step into the kitchen and meet the chefs, food purveyors, and winemakers that make Sonoma County a food and wine destination. Professional chef-instructors will ensure that you leave every class with new techniques, recipes, and ideas.

Participants will receive recipe cards for all items prepared in class. For all participants with valid Photo ID, classes will include one or two glasses of premium wine per person served with dinner. Additional wine is available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

Questions about Cooking In Sonoma

Question: I was interested in the cooking class in Sonoma. How can I tell what class will be held on the date I'm interested in?

Answer: Available dates are highlighted in green. If you hover your mouse over the date, the theme of the evening will be displayed.
Question: Is wine included with in the price of the class?

Answer: 8 oz total of wine in the form of one 8oz glass or two 4oz glasses is included for participants over 21. Bottles of wine or additional glasses will be available for purchase.
Question: Will we be given the recipes after the class?

Answer: Yes, after the class you will be given a printed out version of all of the recipes for the meal you create.
Question: I was given this cooking class for my birthday and would like to know if I need to bring anything?

Answer: Everything you'll need will be provided by the cooking school.
Question: My daughter is very interested in cooking and I would like to surprise her with this cooking class. Is there an age requirement?

Answer: Participants 16 and older can attend unaccompanied. Participants 12-15 are welcome to attend with an adult age 21 years or older.

Answer: Classes offered have set menus and participants may choose to enjoy any or all of the items that the Chef will teach you how to prepare.
