The Dancing in New York is offered five days a week, year-round, subject to availablity. Monday through Friday lessons may be scheduled between 1:00 PM and 8:30 PM, subject to availability.

How Long Is The Dancing in New York

The NY Dance Session includes a 45 minute lesson with a total duration of approximately 1 hour.

Does Weather Impact Dance Lessons

The New York Dancing Lesson takes place in all weather conditions.

What to Wear for Dance Lessons

Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in and not too warm. Leather or suede soled shoes are recommended, and rubber soled and athletic shoes should not be worn.

What To Know Before You Go

Your experience will take place at the world renowned Fred Astaire Dance Studio on Manhattan's Upper West Side, owned and operated by US and world champions Darius and Jolanta Mosteika.

All teachers are highly trained, competitive-level professionals.

Good Instruction for the Price

We purchased the Dancing in New York package, which was got us a dancing session at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Manhattan, New York City. We got a full lesson in Cuban-Style Salsa dancing. In a nutshell, Pros: 50 Minutes of very clear-cut dancing instruction, Simon was a very friendly and funny instructor! Location was nice, safe neighborhood and the selection of Salsa music was perfect. Cons: This was not a private lesson. Had to share the floor with other couples, which meant at times we had to dance Salsa to non-Salsa music.

Question: Could you please let me know if this experience can take place on a Saturday or only Monday though Friday?

Answer: The Dancing In New York experience is only offered Monday to Friday and therefore is not available on Saturdays.
Question: Where does this take place in NYC, I am in midtown and wanted to surprise my wife for our anniversary before dinner reservations.

Answer: The Dancing In New York takes place at 72nd and Broadway.
Question: I want to buy this for me and my girlfriend. The question I have is, after purchase am I given a date when I can come in?
