The Garment Center District Shopping Tours are offered Wednesday thru Friday, year-round, subject to availability. Tours begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesdays and Fridays (February to December) and at 1:30 PM on Thursdays (March to December).

What To Know Before You Go

Tours are recommended for women age 17 and older. Sorry, no men allowed on the tour. Plan to power up with lunch post-tour at a charming local spot, and then head off to the other stores offering you exclusive discounts.

Tours concentrate women's clothing and accessories. Stores typically carry traditional women's sizes 0 – 12 only.

Overall it was interesting. Our guide Camber was great. The shopping wasn't exactly what I was thinking. I felt that the designers we were taken to were geared more towards the older crowd. I was looking forward to more of " Trendy" shopping. But it was interesting.

Question: Is the Garment District Shopping Tour a private tour for just me and my guest?

Answer: This is not a private tour. There will be up to 10 additional people on the tour.
Question: How far can we expect to walk?

Answer: Expect to walk about 4 to 5 city blocks.
Question: I am looking for a fun gift for my girlfriend. Will I be able to go on this tour with her?

Answer: The tour is designed for women and only women's clothing will be offered. It is not recommended for men and the presence of a man may make some feel uncomfortable. Some showrooms do not have private dressing rooms. There is limited room so you would need to purchase a full price ticket if you wish to attend.
Question: Will the showrooms we visit accept any credit card?

Answer: Some will take credit cards and some only take cash. It is best to bring both. If you are not comfortable carrying enough cash for all of the showrooms there will be ATM machines along the way in between stops.
