Starting off atop Mt. Soledad, The La Jolla Bike Tour begins with a thrilling 13 mile descent into Pacific Beach. Stop at Crystal Pier before cruising down Pacific Beach's Boardwalk and through the back streets of La Jolla to La Jolla Cove and Clam's Cave. Finally, you will finish this freefall bike tour at Sunny Jim's Cave via the historical Cave Store.

About 10 miles in length, The Coronado Bike Tour starts on the east side Ferry Landing. Before cruising down the coast, stop at the The Hotel Del Coronado and continue along State HWY 75 before heading back to the Ferry Landing cruise along the Embarcadero and San Diego's port side of Sea Port Village and the famous USS Midway.

The San Diego Bike Tour is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Tours depart at 10:00 AM from La Jolla and at 10:00 AM from Coronado.

How Long Is The San Diego Bike Tour

The La Jalla Bike Tours cover 13 miles and are approximately 2½ to 3 hours in length and the Coronado Bike Tours cover 10 miles are approximately 2 hours.

Does Weather Impact Outdoor Activity Gifts

The Bike Tours of San Diego may be rescheduled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to Wear for Outdoor Activity Gifts

Dress comfortably, closed-toe shoes, athletic apparel and sunscreen are recommended for this cycling adventure.

What To Know Before You Go

Individuals must be 12 years of age or older and must be comfortable cycling in order to participate. Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All equipment is included.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Question: My sister is moving to San Diego and I'd like to gift her the Bike Tour. I'm not sure which location she would like. Will I have to choose when I purchase the certificate or can she decide?

Answer: The certificate will be valid for both locations. The recipient can decide when they redeem their certificate for a reservation.
Question: Is transportation provided to the top of Mt Soledad?

Answer: Yes, you will check in in La Jolla. Once you finish check in you will be shuttled up to the top of Mt. Soledad where you will begin your tour.
