The Phoenix NASCAR Ride includes 3 Laps as a passenger with a total duration of approximately 45 minutes.

Does Weather Impact NASCAR Driving Experiences

The Phoenix International Raceway Ride Along may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds or heavy rain.

What to Wear for NASCAR Driving Experiences

Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this once in a lifetime racing adventure. Participants will be provided with all necessary equipment.

What To Know Before You Go

For safety reasons participants in the NASCAR Experience must be a minimum of 5'0" tall and no more than 6'8" tall. Participant must weigh a minimum of 100 lbs and no more than 280 lbs. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

The race cars are purpose-built, full-sized, Nextel Cup-style Stock Cars. As these are real NASCARs, you must be able to climb through the window to get into the car.

A track-side viewing area is available for friends and family members.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Reservation And Cancelation Policy

All changes to reservations for the Phoenix International Raceway NASCAR Ride Along Experience require forty-five (45) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

The experience was great. It was fun. The only detraction was that your 3 laps are 2 on the track and the other leaving and returning to the pit. It would have been great to get 3 full laps on the track instead a little more than 2

Ultimate Racing Ride review

Great ride, great experience! The staff working the event at Texas Motor Speedway did all that they could to make this an enjoyable ride. They were more than happy to chat about any topic on your mind (aka. racing) and made sure that you were comfortable from start to finish. Wow, those laps go by fast! The sounds, the smells, and the speed add up to a pretty powerful package. The only downer...the DVD video equipment malfunctioned so I did not get that view to watch over and over. But the still shots from the professional as well as those taken by my wife add up to a lot of memories. Thanks Experience Days. I'm telling all of my friends about this one.

Questions about Phoenix NASCAR Ride

Question: I purchased this gift for my husband, a longtime NASCAR fan. I would like to bring the whole family to watch him race. I have two young kids and would like to know if concessions will be available or if I need to bring snacks along for my children.

Answer: As this is a private event hosted by the driving school, the concession stands will not be open. You may bring outside food and beverages along with you.
Question: My siblings and have been thinking about purchasing this experience gift for my father for Christmas. Are there height and weight requirements?

Answer: Participation in the NASCAR Ride Experience is limited to individuals that have the ability to climb through a 15" high by 30" wide window that sits 36" from the ground, can wear a driving suit: sizes S - 3X, and are at least 100 lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe in racing conditions are not eligible to participate.
Question: My Son’s birthday is coming up and I thought this would be an exciting sweet sixteen birthday present! Are there age limits for the ride along?

Answer: Participants must be a minimum of 5 ft tall and 100 lbs. Parental consent is required for participants under 18 years old.
Question: I’m interested in gifting the ride along experience to my boyfriend for our anniversary. Will I be able to sit in the back seat during the ride along?

Answer: This experience is valid for one individual to ride in the Stock car during the ride along. These are real race cars that are driven by professional NASCAR drivers, and the cars do not have back seats.
Question: I would like to purchase this gift for my father, who does not have a very flexible schedule. What happens if it rains on the day of his race and the experience is cancelled?

Answer: Safety is of utmost importance on the track. If the NASCAR experience is cancelled due to weather by the operator or any other uncontrollable circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly through the race operator.
