How Long Is The New Hampshire Motor Speedway NASCAR Experience

The NASCAR Experience in New Hampshire includes one 5 minute driving session, unless an upgrade option is chosen, with a total duration of approximately 3 hours.

Does Weather Impact NASCAR Driving Experiences

The New Hampshire NASCAR Experience may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds or heavy rain.

What to Wear for NASCAR Driving Experiences

Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this once in a lifetime racing adventure. Participants will be provided with all necessary equipment.

What To Know Before You Go

Participation in the NASCAR Experience is limited to individuals 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. For safety reasons participants must be a minimum of 5'0" tall and no more than 6'7" tall. Participants must weigh a minimum of 100 lbs and no more than 280 lbs.

The race cars are purpose-built, full-sized, Nextel Cup-style Stock Cars. As these are real NASCARs, you must be able to climb through the window to get into the car. It is suggested that participants know how to drive a manual transmission.

A track-side viewing area is available for friends and family members.

Liability insurance fee is included and releases you from all vehicle damage.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Reservation And Cancelation Policy

All changes to reservations for the NASCAR Driving Experience require forty-five (45) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

I was not the one who rode but I was very impressed with all of the staff, Gerry is one of my best friends. He is legally blind and has other handicaps. The staff was more than accomodating, had no problem with the request to ride in Danica's car even though it was not next one heading out. The driver and pit crew were out of this world. Gerry still has not stopped talking about it and is showing his plaque to everyone. I would highly recomend this experience to anyone that asks. Hats off to all the staff at Richard Petty. It was the best time.

I have raced cars for 7 years on Dirt. This is by far the best time in a Race car I have had the only thing is they stopped me after 3 Laps for getting to close to the instructor, after a talk sent me back out only to reach speeds of 140mph not the 180mph I feel that was promised. Over all allot of fun yes I would do it again.

Questions about Loudon NASCAR Drive

Question: I would like to purchase this gift for my father, who does not have a very flexible schedule. What happens if it rains on the day of his race and the experience is cancelled?

Answer: Safety is of utmost importance on the track. If the NASCAR experience is cancelled due to weather by the operator or any other uncontrollable circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly through the race operator.
Question: How many other cars will there be on the racetrack? I did a racing experience once before and we followed a pace car the entire time and were not allowed to pass. Does this NASCAR experience allow us to pass?

Answer: An actual NASCAR race has 43 cars at the start, but for this experience there will be only 20 cars total on the track for each session. There is also no lead car and passing is encouraged. You will have a spotter talking to you through your headset and he will let you know when to move up.
Question: I am looking to give this as a retirement gift. What happens if the person I give the gift to gets into an accident?

Answer: Safety is top priority, therefore incidences are EXTREMELY rare. All drivers are covered with Vehicle Liability Insurance that is included in the price.
Question: My parents gave me this as a gift, but I have an expired license. Will that be a problem? Also, are the cars manual or automatic?

Answer: All participants MUST be 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. These are real race cars driven by professional NASCAR drivers. They all have manual transmissions. If you don't know how to drive stick, this should be the proper motivation to learn!
Question: My husband and I would like to buy this for our Son as a Congratulations gift. What is included in each add on package?

Answer: If you click the green circle next to the drop down menu, you will see what is included with each package. They are as follows:
(1) 8 Minute Session – Add three additional minutes of Drive Time for a total eight minutes behind the wheel.
(2) 8 Minute Sessions- Upgrade to two eight minute sessions of Drive Time for a total sixteen minutes behind the wheel.
(3) 8 Minute Sessions- Upgrade to three eight minute sessions of Drive Time for a total twenty four minutes behind the wheel.
