So strap in and get ready for the Professional Driver to put the pedal to the metal! When the thumb up is given to the Driver, they will start the V8 engine and pull out of pit lane and onto the track for 3 heart-pounding laps! Tracks include Concord Speedway, Lucas Oil Raceway, Kalamazoo Speedway and Evergreen Speedway and are oval tracks that are 3/8 of a mile to 1 mile around.

How Long Is The Short Track Racecar Ride Along

The Racecar Ride Along includes 3 Laps as a passenger, unless an upgrade option is selected, and has a total duration of approximately 1 hour (unless an upgrade option is selected).

Does Weather Impact NASCAR Driving Experiences

The Short Track Ride Along Adventure may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to heavy rain or other inclement weather. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable, but can be used at any location nationwide.

What to Wear for NASCAR Driving Experiences

Dress comfortably, a driving suit, helmet and HANS device (head restraint) will be provided. Please wear a T-shirt that will fit under the driving suit and socks that cover your ankles. Boots and open toed shoes are not permitted. Please refrain from using any hair sprays or gels.

What To Know Before You Go

Participation in the Ride Along Experience is limited to individuals less than 6'4" tall, weighing less than 270lbs and who have a waist and chest circumference less than 52" around. Participants must be at least 5' tall, 100lbs and 14 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Participants must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that sits 35” from the ground.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe in racing conditions are not eligible to participate.

All Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Reservation And Cancelation Policy

All changes to reservations for the Short Track Racecar Ride Along Experience require thirty-five (35) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

No changes can be made to reservations within 35 days of the scheduled reservation. Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

3 laps at over 150mph, NASCAR ride equals unforgettable Experience

Take lots of photos! I was crossing an item off my bucket list, so the anticipation and anxiety really hit a boiling point while suiting up. The team were extremely professional and encouraging. Then, my 3 laps around the track. I dare anyone to take this ride and attempt to wipe the ear-to-ear smile off their face. It's impossible. If you think 3 laps isn't enough, well I can assure you, it is. The ride was just long enough for me to beg my wife to let me take the driving school (also available). Three laps of pulse-pounding, glued to the back of your seat, racing thrill it is an adrenaline-fueled rush! This was a moment I am an never going to forget. Not only because of the NASCAR ride, but because I could see the joy my family experienced.

This experience was awesome! It was like the best amusement park ride ever. When we got to the race track and watched the professional drivers, we could tell they were going fast, but nothing compares to actually riding along in the car. This was so much fun, I would definitely do it again and I plan to buy this experience for family members. This would make the perfect Father's Day gift or even a great gift for my grandpa's upcoming 80th birthday.

My kids gave this for my brithday, it was a dream come true. Just to ride in a Nascar at 150+ was the best experience ever. Questions about Short Track Ride Along

Question: I would like to purchase this gift for my father, who does not have a very flexible schedule. What happens if it rains on the day of his race and the experience is cancelled?

Answer: Safety is of utmost importance on the track. If the Ride Along experience is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable, but can be used at any location nationwide.
Question: I’m interested in gifting the ride along experience to my boyfriend for our anniversary. Will I be able to sit in the back seat during the ride along?

Answer: This experience is valid for one individual to ride in the Stock car during the ride along. These are real race cars that are driven by professional NASCAR drivers, and the cars do not have back seats.
Question: I would like to surprise my Grandson with a NASCAR gift for his 13th birthday. Are there age limits for the ride along?

Answer: Participants must be at least 5' tall, 100lbs and 14 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This would be a great gift for his 14th birthday!
Question: I purchased this gift for my husband, a longtime NASCAR fan. I would like to bring the whole family to watch him race. I have two young kids and would like to know if concessions will be available or if I need to bring snacks along for my children.

Answer: As this is a private event hosted by the driving school, the concession stands will not be open. You may bring outside food and beverages along with you.
Question: I noticed there you have several different Ride along Xperiences offered on your site. What is the difference between Short Track, Bull Ring, Speedway and Superspeedway?

Answer: These are track size categories. Bull Ring tracks are oval tracks that are 3/8ths of a Mile or less. Short Tracks are oval tracks that are 3/8 of a mile to 1 mile around. Speedways are oval tracks that are one to two miles around. Super Speedways are oval tracks that are two miles in length or more.
