The fun begins when you meet with your Dance Teacher at one of three Bay Area Dance Studios located in San Francisco, San Jose and Lafayette. Next, you and your guest will learn the fundamentals of the Tango as your Instructor teaches you the basics of this Argentine cultural expression. In order to accelerate the learning process, the Instructor will break down the dance into graduated steps, helping you learn how to tango. After your dance lesson is complete, you'll be ready to go out on the town for a fun-filled night and wow everyone on the dance floor!

Question: My girlfriend bought us the Tango Lessons in San Francisco. I'm a pretty bad dancer and am a little nervous about my ability. Will there be others in the class?

Answer: No, this is a private class for 1 person or a couple.
Question: I would like to purchase this experience for my wife and I. We both took a dance few lessons when we were younger. Should we start off with an intermediate lesson?

Answer: Not unless you specifically took Tango. Most of the people that take intermediate classes have danced Tango their whole lives. The dance studio recommends at least 8 beginner classes before you move on to the intermediate classes.
Question: My parents gave me this lesson for my birthday to surprise my fiance, who is an excellent dancer. This is my first dance class ever, will I learn to lead or follow?

Answer: The school philosophy is must know how to follow before you can lead.
Question: Do I need to bring my partner to the class or can I learn by myself and then surprise them?

Answer: This class is for one or two people. If you choose to take the class by yourself then the instructor will be your partner. If you do come with someone we recommend you bring your significant other.
